I know miss Caja on Shadowness, she's been the one I ran to when i got questions.. haha.. because I feel comfortable asking questions to her.. so I just want to thank her a lot with all those help and inspiration she gave to me and to other artists in Shadowness... stay good miss Caja <3
I have come to know Carin in the last year through a website called Deviant Art. She has great photos and writes poetry. Both forms of art show her depth of feeling for life and the beauty she sees everywhere.
Carin has a heart for helping her fellow man. When a fellow photographer ran into a family crisis (a parent in the hospital and a sudden move), Carin and another person on Deviant Art set up an account (Chip In.com) for people to donate funds to help him out. I'm sure she has done the same for others.
Carin is an active internet volunteer. She is on the staff of Shadowness.com and heads up the "The Monday Feel Good" feature each week and the mentoring program as well. I feel privileged to call Carin my friend. I think she would be good at organizing any event a person might have.
I have nothing but positive things to write about this deviant! I met her on dA a few years ago and she has been nothing but nice to me since day one! She helped me so much when my friend died earlier this year. She has encouraged me to do what I love, and to start using Twitter (which I am now addicted too...)
I'm having a hard time thinking of other great thing Caja has done for me, and inspired me to do, but there is much, much more than what I have written :D
Thank you so very much for everything you've done for me! I couldn't have asked for a better person to stumble onto my duck photos :)
Sincerely; Felicia a.k.a cheez-it-eater.deviantart.com
I first met Caja in a art community called shadowness I was joining their contest called FOR THE WIN contest and I entered the vector/vexel category and I choose her as my reference picture. I just love the simplicity of her picture, simple but has a thousand emotion on it. Unfortunately I didn't win but the experience was worth it.
I met the most kind, down to earth, creative and talented artist I know on SN you can approach her if you have concern and she will help you with open arms
I remember the story of my fellow artist, he's telling me that Caja's Mentor program help him a lot in so many ways.
so the only thing that I can say to her is...Thank you for everything :D on your kindness that makes my day a lot better and for helping us.
On your artwork that inspired me to do more and be the best that I can be.
your influence means a lot to me
THANK YOU Ms. Caja :D
I met Caja at deviantArt - an art community we both belong to, and she has been a consistent source of inspiration to me and many others.
She is dedicated to promoting artists, an excellent communicator and an accomplished artist in her own right. She has great enthusiasm for art management and I have no doubt that she will be a tremendous asset to any team.
Her English is also not only fluent but as good as being a first language which is a great advantage in international events organising.
I'm horrible at writing things like this but I'll try anyways because it's the least I can do for someone who loves to help others. I haven't known Caja for very long but in that short time I've learned that she is a genuinely kind and strong individual. She finds the time to help others in need even if she is struggling with her own problems. She's an awesome and talented addition to the art community and I'm glad that I've gotten the chance to know her even just a little.
Caja (or Petrova, as many have come to know her) is an incredible person. She is one of the only people I have ever met who genuinely gives of herself to better others, with very little (or no) thought of self-gain She is talented, inspiring, and community minded. She Is a binding tie anywhere she goes; instantly pulling people together and making everyone happy.

My name is Patrick Sablan and I'm a Poet/Singer-Song Writer and Musician as well as an art enthusiast. I'm self-employed as a Brick and Stone Mason, with extensive creative and management skills and a sound general knowledge in many fields, including Counseling, Motivational Speaking, Psychology, History, Races and Cultures and Social Studies to name a few. I would like to volunteer my observations on Carin Jacobsson.
I began working as a Staff Support Member in an online Art Community called Shadowness, of which Carin is a member of the Staff. Carin strikes me as a very capable person, who has a quiet intelligence, a gentle but determined form of leadership, and who is very competant and highly skilled in her assigned tasks. She seems to know exactly when and where to take charge, or to merely offer her support and assistance in any matter which arises, and this observation comes by having experienced her assistance as a new Moderator.
She has always been respectful and polite in her superior position, and very approachable, but there is also a no nonsense air about her doings which elevates her in my esteem. She is always professional, as far as can be determined on the Internet, and she conveys that same sensation whenever I am privileged to have dealings with her. Her art speaks to me of a value for excellence and effort. In my own assessment of her personality type, I view her as extremely stable, commited, capable, and most important to me, a person of good character and one upon whom any person may gladly rely.
If I had a paid personal staff in an Art related field, Carin would be a member without question. And in my personal opinion, if I needed an Art Manager to head such a Staff, I would not hesitate to employ her. She has latent capabilities yet to be unleashed by opportunity, and as an intuitive leader myself, I say with no hesitation that Carin will not only step up and perform in any new challenge or situation, but she will in her quiet, subtle way take ownership overall. I also feel strongly that I could just leave things in her hands and forget about everything, and it will evolve and flourish under her care without much input required beyond ordinary operational concerns.
